Bachelor Palmer could be looking for new team

The New York Giants are underwhelmed with their quarterback situation and are very interested in obtaining a franchise passer in April's draft. The team, which had Drew Henson on its radar, currently has Kerry Collins under contract, but the 31-year-old starter wants a long-term deal and the Giants have been dragging their feet.
The Giants would like to restructure Collins' contract, which will count $8.95 million against the cap this year, but no matter what happens in the draft he'll definitely be back with the team. The same cannot be said for backup Jesse Palmer.
Palmer has been a nondescript player for his three-year career, and he's more well known for being the latest bachelor on the reality TV series that premieres tonight. The team tendered the former Florida Gator to a one-year contract worth $628,000 and has the right to match any offer sheet Palmer may sign with another club before the April 16 deadline. But Palmer's not exactly in demand.
