Ottawa Senators: Just a couple of days before the Battle of Ontario resumes, an unlikely source delivered the opening shot. Ottawa's Peter Bondra accused Toronto's Tie Domi of headhunting when he hit the Senators forward Saturday night in their season finale.

Tampa Bay Lightning: Tampa Bay forward Fredrik Modin's 29 goals and career-high 57 points are even more impressive after the former 30-goal scorer worked his way up from checking line duties to earn more ice time.

Philadelphia Flyers: Even though the Flyers might not have to worry about Scott Stevens, who is still recovering from a concussion, the Devils' other Scott is a dominating force of another kind who spells trouble for Philadelphia. "He is always the best player in the game when it's a big game," Flyers head coach Ken Hitchcock told The Philadelphia Inquirer about New Jersey's Scott Niedermayer.
