Browns' Little will draw little interest

By all accounts safety Earl Little had a fine season for the Cleveland Browns. For the second consecutive year he led the team in interceptions, was fourth in pass breakups and sixth in tackles. And because he played so well he wants to re-work the five-year, $7.5 million contract he signed last year.

"We're interested in renegotiating his contract," his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. We feel we've outplayed his deal and we're looking to do a new one."

Little is scheduled to make $535,000, the NFL minimum salary for a player of his tenure.

Instead of acquiescing to his demands, the Browns told the seven-year veteran that he could seek a trade because they weren't willing to give him any more loot. Though Little did a good job for the Browns, Kirstie Alley has a better chance at becoming a swimsuit model than he does of finding another team to give him a raise.
