Denver Broncos: Is he or isn't he? That's the question that all Broncos fans are asking about the possible return of TE Shannon Sharpe for a 14th season. Sharpe spoke Sunday, saying he has been working out hard the past three weeks but won't make a decision until mid-April about retiring. He admitted Sunday, though, that it's important he tell coach Mike Shanahan fairly soon in case the team wants to use a high draft pick on a tight end. "This is totally different than last year because then there weren't a lot of tight ends in the draft," Sharpe told the Rocky Mountain News. "With them having three picks in the first two rounds, I owe that to them to make a decision if they want to go in that direction."
Miami Dolphins: DE Adewale Ogunleye will meet with his agent Drew Rosenhaus today about his future with the Dolphins, or possibly another team. Rosenhaus told the Miami Herald he plans to talk with Chicago GM Jerry Angelo. The Bears are among four teams that have expressed interest in recent days. Rosenhaus said he is looking for a deal worth between the six-year, $34 million deal signed by Grant Wistrom with Seattle and the eight-year, $66 million deal Rosenhaus negotiated for Jevon Kearse with Philadelphia. The Wistrom deal included a $14 million signing bonus. The Kearse deal included $20 million in guaranteed bonuses.
