Boston Bruins: So much for easing in Patrice Bergeron in his first game back after missing 11 games with a separated shoulder. The 18-year-old Bruins rookie looked to be in top shape again as he played more than 13 minutes with a variety of linemates in Boston's 4-2 victory over Ottawa on Tuesday night.

St. Louis Blues: Mike Sillinger and the St. Louis Blues were a perfect fit when the 32-year-old centerman was acquired before the trading deadline. The Blues needed a good faceoff man and Sillinger needed the boost of playing some games that mattered late in the season for the first time since 2001. As a result, Sillinger has chipped in with an impressive four goals and seven points in nine games.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators aren't helping themselves much after once controlling their own destiny while chasing the franchise's first playoff berth in their sixth NHL season. Anaheim, with nothing to lose, beat Nashville 4-1 on Tuesday night to drop the Predators to 1-4-3-1 in their past nine games.
