Tampa Bay Lightning: All is not well with the Lightning despite their Eastern Conference-leading 95 points. After losing their second consecutive game, a 3-1 decision to likely first-round opponent the New York Islanders, Tuesday night, Tampa Bay head coach John Tortorella told the St. Petersburg Times that goaltending is "a major concern of mine going into the playoffs."

Jovanovski
Vancouver Canucks: Vancouver's hopes for having Ed Jovanovski return Tuesday night against Nashville were not fulfilled, but the Canucks defenseman might be back from his shoulder injury Thursday at Dallas. After a 2-2 tie with the Predators, the Canucks are 10-8-3-2 without Jovanovski.
Montreal Canadiens: Montreal notched a big victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night, but it would have been even better if the Avalanche were still in Quebec City. If the franchise had started winning Stanley Cups when it was still the Nordiques, perhaps the Avalanche wouldn't exist as we know it.
