Green Bay Packers: P Josh Bidwell might be in Green Bay next season as his free agent tour hasn't been as fruitful as he'd hoped. He initially visited Miami but they decided to turn their attention towards re-signing P Matt Turk. Tampa expressed some interest but they're mired in cap trouble. "Tomorrow by this time I hope to have something done so I can move on," Bidwell told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "This is a tough time to go through. Both teams are doing a great job. I just have to see how it's going to unfold." A source familiar with negotiations said the Packers had been offering Bidwell a signing bonus of $375,000 as part of a five-year contract. He predicted that Bidwell ultimately would decide to go back to Green Bay for about $400,000 in signing bonus.
Baltimore Ravens: In an effort to shore up their offensive line the team has announced it has offers on the table to OTs Orlando Brown and Ephraim Salaam and will sign whichever free agent accepts a deal first. "We'd like to have Orlando back and we liked what we saw in Salaam," coach Brian Billick told the Baltimore Sum. "So when one wants to take advantage of the opportunity, we'll move forward. You don't want to be the one left without a chair when the music stops."
