Denver Broncos: The Broncos aren't through with DT Daryl Gardener yet. The free agent bust will be back at Denver Broncos headquarters Wednesday to testify at his arbitration hearing. It is expected to last two days. The Broncos have withheld the remaining $2 million of Gardener's signing bonus and are trying to recoup the $3 million already paid. They feel Gardener violated the terms of the contract he signed last March by engaging in conduct detrimental to the team. According to the Rocky Mountain New, coach Mike Shanahan, general manager Ted Sundquist and Gardener's agent, Neil Schwartz, also are expected to testify.

Dallas Cowboys: Despite finishing last season with the top ranked defense in the league, the unit was not without its faults. The Cowboys had to blitz to apply pressure because their front four couldn't get it done by themselves. Which is why they're interested in DE Marcellus Wiley, who was recently released by the San Diego Chargers. A week ago, the Cowboys told agent Leigh Steinberg that Wiley was not on their free-agent radar because he would cost too much. They've changed their tune. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Wiley could visit Dallas as early as today.

Jacksonville Jaguars: After failing to get K Shayne Graham away from Cincinnati, the Jags have turned their attention to K Matt Stover. Stover's agent Jim Steiner said Monday that Stover would decide in the next 48 hours whether to sign with the Ravens or the Jaguars. The Jaguars got the impression Stover had made up his mind when they were told they're out of the running late in the day. Earlier in the day, Steiner said he was talking to both the Jaguars and the Ravens and hoped to finalize a deal in the next two days for the 36-year-old kicker, who made 33-of-38 field goal attempts last year and didn't miss from inside the 45.
