Sack master might return to Miami
Adewale Ogunleye led the AFC with 15 sacks, but teams have not been knocking down the door for his services.
Adewale Ogunleye led the Dolphins and the AFC with 15 sacks last year, but he may not suit up in Miami this year. Ogunleye learned last offseason that he hadn't accrued enough time to become a restricted free agent and would have to wait another year to have the right to have teams bid for his services.
Ogunleye played for $375,000 and looked forward to nabbing a fat contract this offseason. But the Dolphins haven't been rushing to the negotiating table to talk about a deal. Instead they offered him a one-year tender for $1.9 million so that any team that wants to sign him would have to give the Dolphins a first- and third-round draft pick.
