With free agency beginning March 3 and the draft just around the corner, Scouts, Inc., breaks down the biggest offseason needs for the Seattle Seahawks.

Defensive end: Though right end Chike Okeafor is coming off an outstanding season (particularly rushing the passer), he is Seattle's only big-play performer at the position. Left end Brandon Mitchell is more of an interior player who gets by on quickness, and isn't a speed edge rusher. Backups Lamar King, Anton Palepoi and Antonio Cochran are former high draft picks who never panned out, leaving the team with little to show for their efforts to address a dearth of talent here.
