With free agency beginning March 3 and the draft just around the corner, Scouts, Inc., breaks down the biggest offseason needs for the San Francisco 49ers.

Wide receiver: A high price tag and a number of seemingly irreparable relationships within the organization make it highly unlikely that unrestricted free agent Terrell Owens will be back in a 49ers uniform. Tai Streets, a free agent who might be re-signed, has shown promise at times but has been something of a disappointment. The good news: The teams loves Brandon Lloyd, a fourth-round pick in 2003 who is untested but has a chance to blossom into an impact player. The same can be said for Cedrick Wilson, who made nice strides last year but is small.
