Breaking down the combine
Several quarterbacks, including Ole Miss' Eli Manning, LSU's Matt Mauck, N.C. State's Philip Rivers and Kansas State's Ell Roberson, chose not to work out, while several others, including Miami of Ohio's Ben Roethlisberger, Michigan State's Jeff Smoker, Kentucky's Jared Lorenzen and Bowling Green's Josh Harris, chose to throw but not to run the 40-yard dash.
Despite not running, Roethlisberger stole the show at the quarterback position with his strong interviews and arm in passing drills.
