Browns need hard-hitting safety

With free agency beginning March 3 and the draft just around the corner, Scouts, Inc., breaks down the biggest offseason needs for the Cleveland Browns.

Left tackle: Veteran Ross Verba isn't ready to retire, but he suffered a season-ending ruptured biceps tendon last year and has a very questionable long-term future. Because of the thin free-agent market at left tackle, Cleveland likely will attempt to re-sign Verba. But if the Browns could find a viable left tackle, they could move Verba to guard and strengthen two positions.
