  • The Mets are clearly in need of some headline grabbing after what the Yankees have done this offseason and approached the Rangers about what it would take to get Alfonso Soriano back to New York, albeit in a different uniform. While they didn't offer Jose Reyes, his name has been attached to the discussion. Kevin Kernan of the New York Post suggests it would be crazy to trade him away.
