Ottawa Senators: Peter Bondra won't be wearing his familiar No. 12 when he joins the Senators. Ottawa forward Mike Fischer was asked if he'd give it up but declined, telling the Ottawa Sun. "I've had that number since junior. I think it would be different if I was a rookie." Bondra will likely wear No. 10 when he makes his Senators debut Thursday night against Atlanta.

Carolina Hurricanes: Carolina forward Jeff O'Neill might be playing against a future employer Thursday night when the Hurricanes play host to the Maple Leafs, but he doesn't see the likelihood. "It would be pretty fun, but they don't really need a forward, do they?" O'Neill told the Toronto Sun.
