Every victory, loss and injury up until the March 9 trading deadline could have repercussions on roster moves as teams evaluate their chances at the playoffs and decide whether to be buyers or sellers. Here's a look at a few teams affected by recent developments.

Leetch
Defenseman Brian Leetch would generate a lot of interest from playoff-bound teams if Sather wants to entertain offers. The Rangers (21-27-7-4) are 11 points behind the archrival New York Islanders, who they next play Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with 23 games remaining.
Leetch is loyal, but Rangers may shop star defenseman
Lately the New York Rangers have done little to show they will get back in the playoff race, so it will be interesting to see if general manager Glen Sather can deal any veteran players before the trading deadline.
