Washington Capitals: Capitals goaltender Olaf Kolzig said he has been affected by trade rumors, and although his heart is with Washington, he'll go do his job somewhere else if he has to. "If I remain here, great. If not, I have good memories," Kolzig told The Washington Times. Chicago Blackhawsks: A Washington-Chicago matchup won't spark much excitement from fans at this point in the season. But Sunday's game between two of the worst teams in the NHL did bring out a crowd of scouts from 13 other teams looking at some Blackhawks and Capitals who might help them before the trading deadline.

New York Rangers: Most of the Rangers can't forget Ottawa's 9-1 rout of New York on Jan. 24. The Blueshirts will be out for revenge Monday in their first meeting with the Senators since that debacle. "We don't need any special reason to play, because we need two points. But there's a little extra motivation," Rangers winger Matthew Barnaby told the New York Post.

New York Islanders: Islanders winger Mark Parrish participated in a full practice for the first time since spraining his ankle last month, and he might be back in the lineup Monday against Los Angeles.
