With all the attention being focused on the possible trades of Mark Brunell and Drew Henson, you'd think they were the only two quarterbacks to have piqued the interest of teams around the league. But there is another passer scouts and personnel men have their eye on.

Ricky Ray led the Edmonton Eskimos to the CFL Grey Cup last fall, but now he's shooting for a roster spot in the NFL. On Dec. 16, a month to the day after playing in the championship game, Ray traveled to Denver and worked out for 10 NFL teams. Though he hasn't been signed yet, the workout did go well and raised the curiosity of several teams.

"He had a very good workout here in Denver," said Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, an Edmonton Native. "We don't want to steal him away from you guys. But I know from the report I saw from our coaches and scouts, he has a significant chance to play football in the NFL. The report says he has a significant amount of talent, and probably will end up playing in the NFL."
