New York Rangers: Mike Dunham could be done as the New York Rangers' No. 1 goalie. Coyotes goaltender Sean Burke was told Wednesday that he would be traded by Monday, according to The New York Times. The Flyers are apparently the leading candidate for his services, but The Times reported that Rangers GM Glen Sather was trying to connect with Phoenix management to grab the 37-year-old veteran before his Atlantic Division rivals could.

Philadelphia Flyers: Then again, Flyers GM Bob Clarke might choose to wait until closer to the trading deadline to get some help in net if Jeff Hackett can't overcome his vertigo. Clarke and head coach Ken Hitchcock want Robert Esche to be No. 1 when the playoffs start, but Philadelphia will likely seek some insurance in goal.

Detroit Red Wings: Detroit and Colorado look like they're reviving their rivalry, but unfortunately it took some careless stickwork by both teams to heat things up Thursday night.
