Coaches will tell you that injuries are no excuse for losing, especially Bill Belichick, who's Patriots are in the Super Bowl despite losing several starters. But every coach wants to have his best players on the field. Below is a list of five impact players that missed large chunks of time due to season-ending injuries. Some will return and some may not, but their future has a tremendous effect on the future of their teams.
