Detroit Red Wings: Detroit's goalie circus is set to resume soon when Dominik Hasek starts working his way back into the Red Wings lineup. "I'm preparing to have three goalies probably in a couple of weeks, and then -- I guess for lack of a better way (to say it) -- to try to figure it out," Lewis told the Detroit Free Press.

Boston Bruins: Boston captain Joe Thornton expects to return to the Bruins lineup Tuesday against the New York Islanders for the first time since his face met Eric Lindros' fist. Thornton, who will use a full-cage mask to protect his surgically repaired cheek, said he realizes how lucky he is that he didn't suffer permanent damage to his eye.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Toronto's Owen Nolan, however, is still suffering vision problems and headaches as a result of the high stick from Buffalo's Jay McKee on Jan. 3. He doesn't expect to be ready to play Tuesday night against Carolina and is taking it day to day.
