Super Bowl: As is the norm for the stadium that hosts a Super Bowl, Reliant Stadium is
currently awash with construction crews that are hard at work getting the
venue ready for the game. What's a little unsettling is that they're running
a tad behind schedule and the job might not be finished until early Sunday
morning. The 35-person crew is hurrying to bolt down 2,100 temporary seats,
build areas for 3,200 members of media, ready pre-game and halftime stages,
build broadcast platforms for CBS, and wrap up other tasks. "For Super Bowl
XXX in Phoenix, we didn't finish until 6 a.m. Sunday," Noel Lesley, owner of
Noel Lesley Event Services of Ashland, Ore., told the Houston Chronicle.
Lesley's company has made improvements at Super Bowl stadiums for 20 years.

Stokley
Indianapolis Colts: Though his team lost the AFC Championship Game, WR Brandon Stokley is as
happy as could be. Stokley's 6-week-old son, Cameron, could be discharged in
a day or two from St. Vincent Children's Hospital after a two-week bout with
bacterial meningitis. "He's doing real good," Stokley told the Indianapolis
Star. "(Today) is supposed to be his last day for antibiotics. Hopefully we
can get him completely off oxygen, too. It's getting better. Maybe in the
next day or two, we can take him home."

Stokley
New York Giants: Though they can't officially announce it, the Giants have a new offensive coordinator. According to the New York Post the club will hire New England's quarterbacks coach John Hufnagel for the position but they must wait until after the Super Bowl to make the announcement. Hufnagel worked under Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville in 2002 and will call the plays, although the offensive concept will be Coughlin's.
