Devils might be on the move
Jaromir Jagr might be bound for Broadway, if the Rangers and Capitals can iron out some key details.
On Friday night the Islanders (22-20-4-1) travel to Carolina to face former head coach Peter Laviolette for the first time since he was fired after last season. Laviolette, who took over the Hurricanes from the fired Paul Maurice in December, was dumped after something akin to a players' coup despite leading the Isles to their only two playoff berths in the past nine seasons.
