Brunell will be hottest commodity
The free agent market was set to be loaded with talented quarterbacks, but things have changed drastically.
Garcia was on the hot seat in San Francisco, but he finished the season as
the league's hottest quarterback, tossing 10 touchdowns and only one
interception. Though he doesn't possess the great arm coach Dennis Erickson
likes, he threw the deep ball much better when he finally got healthy at
season's end. Now the Niners would like to re-structure Garcia's contract
and keep him by the bay.
