Defense, home field give Eagles the edge
A flair for the dramatic seems to suit the Packers, whose season was rescued for a second straight week on the final play of a game. They shouldn't expect any second chances in Philadelphia this week if they find themselves down against the Eagles, perhaps the hottest team in the league not named the Patriots.
QB Brett Favre, RB Ahman Green and a rangy, skilled offensive line are peaking, and the Packers' receivers seem to be coming into their own. But the Eagles' ballistic scheme and home-field advantage aren't to be overlooked -- especially if QB Donovan McNabb can put pressure on his Packers counterpart by moving the Eagles' offense in spite of the absence of RB Brian Westbrook.
