Edmonton Oilers: Three wins in the past 17 games has prompted the start of some changes by the Edmonton Oilers. Demoting defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron to Toronto of the AHL might just be the first of many moves in an attempt to spark the struggling club.

Dallas Stars: Ken Hitchock's most noticable legacy in Dallas was coaching the Stars to the Stanley Cup in 1999. But the Flyers head coach said his proud to have helped build a hockey culture, from the Stars to minor hockey, in Dallas that remains today.

Vancouver Canucks: There was a time when players could expect a well-placed blocker in the chops if they ran Vancouver's Dan Cloutier. But on Monday night, the Canucks netminder retaliated in a more mature way by stopping 34 Avalanche shots in Vancouver's 3-2 victory over division rival Colorado.
