Why to watch
Bowl rematches typically lack intrigue because it takes away from the purpose of matching up two teams that would rarely have the opportunity to compete against one another during the regular season. But this game is an exception. Maryland has dominated West Virginia in their last two regular season meetings by a total score of 82-24, but the Mountaineers were one of the hottest teams in the nation in the second half of the season and came just a couple of plays away from earning a BCS bid as the Big East representative.
