  • Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer raised some eyebrows last week when he said LaDainian Tomlinson was the best running back he has ever seen. Schottenheimer, who has been involved in pro football for 27 years, said he believes Tomlinson, in just his third year, is a combination of Barry Sanders and Walter Payton.
