New York Rangers: Alexei Kovalev is frustrating Rangers fans more than opponents again. But unlike his first stint with the Broadway Blueshirts, the talented Russian is shooting more -- and missing more.

Pittsburgh Penguins: Pittsburgh forward Milan Kraft probably won't score like he did in the minors and junior, but he's finally showing he belongs in the NHL. Kraft has four goals and three assists in the past seven games after being a healthy scratch for many Penguins games before that.

Philadelphia Flyers: Philadelphia's Robert Esche isn't free of pain after coming back from a groin injury Saturday night against the Islanders. But he's well enough that Flyers head coach Ken Hitchcock can resume his goalie rotation with Jeff Hackett.
