NFL Power Points: Colts make giant leap
By holding the Falcons to just 29 passing yards and seven points, the Colts moved from eighth to the No. 1 spot.
The top-eight teams from last week stayed at the top, just with a juggled order. The Ravens suffered the biggest drop, going from third to seventh with a 1.9-point drop in their overall rating after losing to the Raiders. The Titans, Rams and Broncos won their games, but saw their ratings lowered after not winning by the expected margin of victory. With the top-16 teams all within a touchdown of one another in the ratings, any odd bounce of the ball can take a team from victory to defeat.
Six teams have clinched playoff berths, but there are another six up for grabs as well as the late-season jockeying for playoff seeding. Several teams face some difficult obstacles to overcome in their quest for the postseason. Kansas City is battling for home-field advantage, but the Power Points predict a Vikings upset over the Chiefs this Saturday.
