Philadelphia Flyers: Philadelphia is still in first overall, but the Flyers still can't beat Atlantic Division rival New Jersey. As good as the Flyers have been most of the season, they have a number of areas that need improvement.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Very little has gone wrong for the Maple Leafs lately, but a Bryan McCabe slap shot that hit Joe Nieuwendyk's ankle nearly changed that. While X-rays revealed no fracture, it's still not clear when the Toronto center will return to action.

Vancouver Canucks: Alex Auld got his second consecutive surprise start for the Vancouver Canucks and allowed just one goal for the second game in a row Sunday night in Vancouver's 2-1 overtime victory over Carolina.
