Boise State vs. Texas Christian
Why to watch
This is a highly unlikely matchup but a gem nonetheless for the inaugural PlainsCapital Fort Worth Bowl. For starters, the Big 12 Conference has the first right to this bowl and was scheduled to send its eighth bowl-eligible team to fill the spot, but since the Big 12 had two teams secure berths in BCS bowls, WAC champion Boise State stepped in. Texas Christian, on the other hand, was originally supposed to play in the GMAC Bowl but declined its invitation because of a "schedule conflict with final exams" and low-and-behold will wind up playing in its home stadium on Dec. 23rd.
