Teams looking to unload dead weight
The Capitals and Rangers seem likely to eventually work out a deal sending Jaromir Jagr to New York.
While the holiday roster freeze from Dec. 19-27 won't in itself spark more trades, a number of disappointing starts by assorted teams probably will.
