Nashville doing more with less
With the franchise's best start in year six, the Predators are sneaking up on their rivals in the Western Conference.

With losing records in their first five years of existence, the only snarl the Nashville Predators usually showed was in their sabre-toothed tiger logo.
But with the franchise's best start in year six, the Predators (12-10-1) are finally living up to their name and sneaking up on their rivals in the Western Conference.
Entering Wednesday's action, Nashville is tied with Dallas and Anaheim for seventh in the West with 25 points and the Predators are third in the Central, just five points behind division leaders St. Louis and Detroit.
Tomas Vokoun has emerged as a reliable netminder for the surging Predators.
