Denver Broncos: LB Al Wilson, perhaps the only healthy linebacker on the roster, will undergo a MRI today on a pinched nerve in his neck that is causing him considerable discomfort and continues to worsen. "It's taking away from my play," Wilson told the Denver Post. "I've been fighting through it and fighting through it, but I've get to get it looked at." The Broncos have already lost LBs, Ian Gold, John Mobley and rookie Terry Pierce to season-ending injuries.

Indianapolis Colts: RB Edgerrin James should make sure to thank his offensive linemen, and not just because they paved the way for his two touchdown, 108-yard performance. When the Colts settled for a 24-yard Mike Vanderjagt field goal after passing twice within the Bills red zone, C Jeff Saturday went to the sidelines with one message for the coaches run the ball. "I just said, 'Hey, this is our game plan,' " Saturday told the Indianapolis Star. "We got away from it a little on that drive, but we came back to it. It's tough when you get down there and it looks so tempting to throw the ball. But I felt Edge was running (well), hitting the holes hard all day." Coach Tony Dungy confirmed that the linemen were particularly run-centric that day saying, "The offensive linemen were asking for that all day."

Philadelphia Eagles: S Brian Dawkins was hoping to play Sunday, but his injured foot forced him to watch from the sidelines. Dawkins barely practiced last week, and he tested his sprained foot out a few hours before Sunday's 33-20 victory over the New Orleans Saints. "I was just hoping that I was able to go from practice where it wasn't feeling like it needed to be ...that I'd be able to do some more things," Dawkins told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I went out and tested it early before the game and then I made the decision that it wouldn't have been smart for me to try it." Dawkins said he doesn't believe he returned to action too early after playing in the Eagles' win over the New York Giants.
