New York Yankees: According to Dwight Gooden, Gary Sheffield's A-1 2004 destination is Yankee Stadium. Gooden, who also happens to be Sheffield's uncle and a Yankee employee, believes New York is where he belongs and says it's where he wants to be. "He's impatient; he wanted to do it the first day they could talk about money," he told Anthony McCarron of the New York Daily News. Sheffield finished third in the 2004 National League MVP voting, announced yesterday.
