Minnesota goalie earning starting spot

After a rough start, Dwayne Roloson has been one of the best goalies in the league this month.

Minnesota Wild head coach Jacques Lemaire can insist he has an equal goalie rotation all he wants, but the evidence over the past season continues to show that Dwayne Roloson is the Wild's No. 1 netminder.

After a rough start, Roloson has been one of the best goalies in the league this month. But that's not yet enough to get the tough-to-please Lemaire's endorsement as the Wild's go-to guy between the pipes over Wild goaltending partner Manny Fernandez.

"If he can hold it, you'll find out," Lemaire told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "But you need 10 to 15 games to find out because at the beginning Manny was going better, now Roli's going better."
