Anaheim Mighty Ducks: Mighty Ducks GM Bryan Murray acknowledges he has talked to the Oilers about restricted free agent center Mike Comrie. "Kevin (Lowe) told me he's not in a hurry," Murray told The Orange County Register about the Edmonton GM.

The Maloof brothers, who own the NBA's Sacramento Kings, are reportedly in talks to buy the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Joe Maloof's statement about not commenting because of a confidentiality agreement pretty much affirms that the discussions are pretty serious.

Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers would love to get defensive prospect Braydon Coburn, who is currently in junior hockey with the Portland Winter Hawks, from Atlanta in a deal for Comrie. But the Thrashers don't want to deal their 2003 first-round draft pick even though they are hurting at center.
