New York Giants: As if Big Blue's season wasn't going badly enough, there is some concern that TE Jeremy Shockey may have a significant injury to this knee. Shockey, who leads all tight ends with 535 receiving yards, limped around the field most of the game and hurt himself even further after leaping to make a 28-yard catch late in the third quarter. He left with a sprained knee and according to the New York Post will undergo an MRI today.
Pittsburgh Steelers: LB Jason Gildon came into the season needing three sacks to supplant L.C. Greenwood as the franchise's all-time sack leader, but through the first eight games of the season he only had two. That changed Sunday when he had three sacks, matching his single-game best. But Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Mean Joe Greene, who ranks third on the Steelers all-time list, wasn't all that impressed with Gildon's accomplishment. "We don't care anything about that," Greene told the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. "(Greenwood) still has four Super Bowl rings."
