Detroit Red Wings: Besides his renewed legal troubles in the Czech Republic stemming from his infamous in-line hockey escapade, Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek has been bothered by a sore groin. Maybe it's not so bad that Curtis Joseph is still around, after all.

Dallas Stars: Dallas goalie Marty Turco said before this season that he wouldn't duplicate last season's 1.72 GAA, the lowest in the NHL since 1940. But he's at a loss to explain why he's putting up average numbers such as a 2.32 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Boston Bruins: Mike Knuble had to work his way back onto Boston's top line with Joe Thornton and Glen Murray this season. Now the threesome might have a clever nickname, courtesy of Montreal head coach Claude Julien, The 700-Pound Line.
