Philadelphia still lacking cohesion

A rash of injuries has forced Philadelphia to adjust quickly if they expect to pull away from their Atlantic Division rivals.

After an unimpressively mediocre 1-1-1-1 West Coast road trip, the Philadelphia Flyers hope returning home will help get them back on track.

A rash of injuries hasn't helped, but they'll have to adjust quickly to the changes if they expect to pull away from their Atlantic Division rivals, none of which are setting a torrid pace as yet anyway.

"It was a long week," Flyers center Jeremy Roenick told the Philadelphia Daily News. "We played teams that were really hungry and played hard. We played some teams with some skills that played hard and played very physical, played very defensive, so it was a battle out here."
