Soriano breaking wrong records

World Series Fever
What is life like for Jeff Weaver after giving up the
game-winning home run on Wednesday night? Dave
Caldwell of the New York Times spent some time with
him yesterday.
Yankee fans: do you feel like vilifying Weaver for
what he did? How about looking instead to his manager,
Joe Torre, for not using their best reliever in a
close game? ESPN.com's Rob Neyer suggests this was
patently ludicrous.
As you can imagine, I read a lot of headlines every
day and this article on the benching of Alfonso
Soriano has one of the best I've seen recently: "Slump
with ash puts Soriano on pines." Tom Haudricourt of
the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports on the second
baseman's struggles.
