Ever wonder what the Hall of Fame is like this time of
year? Charlie Vayscellaro of the Washington Times
reports it's a fun place to watch a World Series game.
Was last night's contest one of the best Game 3's
of all time? It was a great pitching duel, but no,
probably not. Mike Phillips of the Miami Herald
recalls a few other famous World Series Game 3's,
including the most famous one of all: Babe Ruth's
legendary Called Shot in 1932.
In spite of the fact that Wayne Huizenga is still
getting his pound of flesh from the Marlins, Harvey
Araton of the New York Times believes they should
build on the 2003 success of this franchise. Miami can
and should be a baseball stronghold.
