It's hard to tell what's more surprising: That the game of the year so far is between the Thrashers and Lightning on Tuesday night, or that the once-weak Southeast Division is providing the teams for this marquee matchup.

Unbeaten Tampa Bay (3-0-0) plays host to unbeaten Atlanta (3-0-2) in a battle for bragging rights in the division.

Some are surprised the Thrashers and Lightning are two of the three remaining unbeaten teams in the NHL (2-0-2 Philadelphia is the other). But Tampa Bay is a confident club after advancing to the second round of the playoffs last season, and Atlanta showed late last season by finishing with a 19-15-5 record that it would be a team to be reckoned with.
