Chicago already digging deep hole

Injuries and an inexperienced lineup have combined to make Chicago possibly the worst team in the league.

As former Chicago head coach Darryl Sutter likes to say, "You can't make the playoffs in October, but you can sure miss them."

That's never been more true than for the Blackhawks, who are coached by the current Calgary Flames coach's brother Brian.

The NHL season is only a little more than a week old, but mounting injuries and an inexperienced Chicago lineup have already combined to create quite possibly the worst team in the league.
