Detroit Red Wings: With a little more than a nodding guy-hi, Dominik Hasek finally greeted Curtis Joseph for the first time with a handshake in the Red Wings dressing room on Wednesday. The two $8 million goalies will have to get used to each other if CuJo isn't claimed in Friday's waiver draft.

Chicago Blackhawks: Craig Anderson and Michael Leighton get their last chances Thursday night in their fight for the backup goalie job for the Blackhawks. And if neither has a strong showing against Buffalo, Chicago can consider netminders such as Brian Boucher, Steve Shields and Milan Hnilicka in the waiver draft.

Toronto Maple Leafs: Either the Maple Leafs are trying to sneak Travis Green through or they're slowly ridding themselves of the Shayne Corson clique. Green, a buddy of former Leaf Corson, was disappointed to be exposed for Friday's waiver draft. Could this mean Corson's brother-in-law Darcy Tucker is the next to go?
