Indianapolis Colts: RB Edgerrin James is erring on the side of caution regarding his sore back. He sat out Sunday night's game against the Saints and he may do the same with this week's prime-time matchup against the Buccaneers. James is concerned that the injury could linger and affect his performance as the season wears on. That's something James dealt with last year when he played with injuries to both ankles, ribs and a hamstring. He played through the injuries but was less effective in the season's second half. "We've got three backs who are good and I don't want to do what I did last year," James told the Indianapolis Star. "That's one thing I said in the off-season, that I wasn't going to play if I'm not right. I guess I'm being tested early. You can't rush an injury."
