Baltimore Orioles: Some might call it thinking ahead
but not Mike Mussina of the Yankees. The Hurricane
Isabel-inspired decision to move up the starting time
for tonight's game at Camden Yards incensed the
scheduled starter, former Oriole Mike Mussina. "Those
of us who are traveling would like to play [last
night's] game, cancel [today's] and let us go where we
are going. There will be 40- to 50-mph wind gusts and
the rain will be coming down sideways and 250 people
will be in the stands who will be enjoying the game,"
he told George King of the New York Post. The Phillies
have also jumped the starting time of their game
against the Marlins in anticipation of the storm.
