Anaheim Angels: Angels' television commentator Rex Hudler has been suspended from duty in the wake of his arrest for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia at Kansas City International Airport. Larry Stewart of the Los Angeles Times reports that the 43-year old former big leaguer posted bond and returned to southern California where he will not be resuming his duties in the broadcast booth. The suspension is indefinite."

Tim Raines, Jr. has been doing so without much success, reports Joe Christensen of the Baltimore Sun. He has been trying to perfect the homerun bring-back but had not been having any luck. All that changed under game conditions, however, when he was able to come up with just such a grab in yesterday's game against Oakland.
