Kansas City Royals: Here is what the Royals have to do
in the 24 hours or so beginning tonight at
7 p.m.: Play the Rangers in Arlington, fly home to
Kansas City and face Randy Johnson and the
Diamondbacks; fly to Anaheim. Sound like a rough deal?
It may actually get rougher. Bob Dutton of the Kansas
City Star reports that one of the scenarios for making
up Sunday's game lost to rain would be to have the
Angels return to Kansas City and play the Royals on
Thursday night after the Diamondbacks game. Another
solution would be to have the game played in Anaheim
over the weekend.
